3.12.2 To Make CMYK Simulation Profile Settings

Procedure
* Perform the adjustment in accordance with the procedures below.
* All the adjustments are made by the service technician, and by the user.
* This adjustment enables printing within the color reproducible range programmed in the MFP engine by
disabling the CMYK Simulation Profile settings from the printer driver to improve reproducibility of light-
colored fine lines.
* This adjustment is available only for PostScript printing under Windows and Macintosh OS.
(1) Open the properties of the printer driver and change the "CMYK Simulation Profile" settings.
For Windows (PostScript)
• Use procedures (a) and (b) below to change the "CMYK Simulation Profile" settings.
(a) Open the properties of the printer driver, select "ColorWise" on the "Fiery Printing" tab, and click
the [Expert Settings] button.
(b) Change the "CMYK Simulation Profile" settings to "None", and click the [OK] button.
