3. Printer-specific Adjustments
For Macintosh
Open the print settings dialog box and adjust "Sharpness" by selecting a desired value within a range
between "-1" and "-4".
• When Sharpness is set to "-4", a smoothest (softest) print image will be obtained.
* A menu to be selected depends on a combination between printer controller and OS. For the combination,
refer to the table below.

Cautions after the completion of the adjustment
• This adjustment provides softer print image (blurred) in general. Therefore, perform the adjustment carefully,
while checking the printout.
• For PCL printing with the GA-1131, the effect of the adjustment will be reflected not only to images but also to
text and illustrations. Therefore, perform the adjustment carefully, while checking the print quality.
