3. Printer-specific Adjustments
Cautions after the completion of the adjustment
For the GA-1120 and GA-1130, the printer engine is controlled for a media type selected by "Media Type" in the
"Paper Source" menu only when "Printer's default" is selected for "Output Profile" under "Expert Settings" of the
"ColorWise" menu under the "Fiery Printing" tab of the printer driver property.
When a customized output profile is selected for "Output Profile" under "Expert Settings" (any one of Output-1
to Output-10 is selected), the current setting of "Paper Source" is ignored and the printer engine is controlled for
a media type associated with the output profile.
For example, if the output profile "Output-2" is associated with "Plain Paper", "Thick1 Paper" selected for
"Paper Source" is ignored when "Output-2" is selected for "Output Profile" under "Expert Settings". Thus, the
printer engine is controlled based on the output profile associated with "Plain Paper".
When a paper mode associated with the output profile is not correct, the printer engine cannot be controlled
properly for a media type selected and a problem such as low fusibility of the toner may occur, even though
paper used for printing is the same as paper selected by "Paper Source" of the printer driver property.
