Cautions after the completion of the adjustment
The effect of "Image Smoothing" is to interpolate data to be reflected only to bit map data such as photo image
or capture image on a PC screen (BMP, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PICT). Setting "Image Smoothing" to higher
resolution (for example, "Below 300 ppi") or "On" enables the smoothing effect to be reflected to higher-
resolution data. Do not use "Image Smoothing" unless really necessary because it is not so effective for images
of more than 150 ppi (dpi) and it puts a load on the printer controller causing a longer output time. When
"Image Smoothing" is set to "Automatic", the same effect as when "Image Smoothing" is set to "Below 150 ppi"
is obtained.
