3. Printer-specific Adjustments
For Windows (PCL)
Open the properties of the printer driver, select "Color Settings" on the "Fiery Printing" tab, and change the
Rendering Style" setting to "Relative Colorimetric" or "Absolute Colorimetric".
<Note> When "Rendering Style" is set to "Absolute Colorimetric" and printing is performed using PCL,
black data (including text and graphics) is reproduced with all toner colors (C, M, Y and K). This
may change black hue or cause blurred text and lines due to a color attached to them. Care must be
taken when using this setting. Use PostScript when the image quality such as color adjustment is
important for printing. Note that the printed colors when PCL is used is different from those when
PostScript is used even when the same data is printed because the printer controller's image
processing is different in each case.
