2. Copier-specific Adjustments

2.13 To Obtain Good Color Balance on Special Paper (Waterproof Gloss Paper for POP)

Before the adjustment
The color balance is different between an original
and a copy on a special paper (waterproof gloss
paper for POP).
Explanation
When copies are made on special paper such as waterproof glossy POP paper, images may become extremely
dark or a hue may vary from an original. To reproduce hue similar to that of the original by applying a proper
image density to the special paper, use Special paper mode, perform color adjustment (color balance adjustment,
RGB adjustment), and adjust the amount of the toner to be adhered on the special paper.
* This adjustment is available only with the e-STUDIO211c/311c.
Procedures
* Perform the adjustment in accordance with the procedures below.
* Procedures (1) and (2) are used by the service technician, and by the user.
* Procedure (3) is used by the service technician only.
