Procedures
* The service technician must perform the adjustment in accordance with the procedures below.
(1) Enter setting mode [08] and adjust the set value for code [405], [407], [452] or [455] to optimally set the
execution interval for the image quality control function depending on how the copier is actually used.
When the copier is installed in a place where the temperature and humidity vary widely:
• Change the set value for 08-405 to "0" to increase the execution frequency of image quality control
according to a change in humidity.
(Set the difference in relative humidity between the time when the last image quality control is executed and
the present time, which causes the control to take place.)

When there is a frequent need for one job to continuously print or copy hundreds of sheets or more:
• Change the set value for 08-407 to "1" so that the image quality control will be executed each time 300
sheets (set value for 08-453) or more are continuously printed or copied.

referring to Section 1.3 "To Have Uniform Image Quality in Continuous Printing"
When a very small number of sheets are output (about one sheet per hour):
• Change the set value for 08-452 to "1" to shorten the standby time before executing the image quality
control.

When a large number of sheets are output (hundreds of sheets or more per day):
• Change the set value for 08-455 to "1" to "9" (set value × 100 sheets) to reduce the accumulated number of
sheets printed or copied before executing the image quality control.
