3. Printer-specific Adjustments
For Macintosh
Open the print settings dialog box and change the "CMYK Simulation Method" settings to "Full (Source
GCR)" or "Quick".
* A menu to be selected depends on a combination between printer controller and OS. For the combination,
refer to the table below.

Cautions after the completion of the adjustment
• The adjustment may possibly cause poor reproducibility of fine gray lines and light gray areas, a dark gray area
to be blurred, and an entire print image to look rough containing black (because of K toner positively used).
Therefore, perform the adjustment carefully, while checking the printout.
• When "CMYK Simulation Method" is set to "Quick", each of C, M, or Y color is reproduced with its toner's
original color. This causes change in color balance. When it is set to "Full (Source GCR)", the color balance
of C, M, or Y color is almost the same as that of the default due to ink simulation. These should be considered
when making this adjustment.
