3. Printer-specific Adjustments
Cautions after the completion of the adjustment
The adjustment may possibly cause a dark-color area to be blurred (a decrease in graduation) and a loss of
brightness of bright colors (colors close to their primary colors). Therefore, perform the adjustment carefully,
while checking the printout.
Remarks
• To make the color balance on the monitor match that in the printout, the profile setting and color adjustment
must also be correctly performed with the monitor and PC. For the adjustment procedures for the monitor and
PC, refer to the relevant manuals.
• It is generally impossible to print "bright colors (colors close to their primary colors)" according to the color
balance on the monitor.
• If it is impossible to set the monitor color space to sRGB, use an ICC (International Color Consortium) profile
of the monitor after registering it as custom RGB source profile with each printer controller using Profile
Manager of the ColorWise Pro Tools.
How to register an RGB source profile
(1) Start ColorWise Pro Tools and click "Profile Manager" in the main window.
