(1) Select the "PROGRAM" menu from the Control Panel, select "Bypass", then "Special paper".
Set the special paper on the bypass guide.
After the setting, make a copy and check the image quality.
If further image quality adjustments are still necessary, use the next procedure.
(2) Make the color balance adjustment or RGB adjustment to adjust the colors in general.
• Follow procedures (a) through (d) to make the adjustment.
(a) Select the "COLOR" menu from the Control Panel.
(b) Select "COLOR BALANCE" for adjustment with YMCK, and "RGB ADJUSTMENT" for
adjustment with RGB.
(c) Select a "+" position to enhance the tint of the color, and a "−" position to decrease the tint of the
color.
(d) Press the [SET] button.

Generally, the colors of the copy made on waterproof glossy POP paper is darker than those of the
original paper. Generally, it is recommended to set the colors to the [−] side.
After adjusting the colors, make a copy and check the image quality.
If further image quality adjustments are still necessary, use the next procedure.
(3) Enter adjustment mode [05] and change the value for code [609] to adjust the amount of toner to be adhered
on special paper.
• Increase the value until the image density, required by Special paper mode, is obtained while considering
the balance with the toner transferability and fusibility.

Remarks
• Enter the value within the recommended value range mentioned in the procedures. Otherwise, it may cause a
loss in copier performance, including image failure and a decrease in consumable life.
• If the adjustment causes a problem with the fixing of toner, lower the set value for 05-609 for adjustment.
