3.11 To Smoothen Text Edges or Image

Before the adjustment
Unadjusted settings.
Explanation
When print data, such as Web page, is printed, the edge of printed text or photo image is sometimes outlined or
jagged. Make the "Sharpness" settings (disable the "Sharpness" settings) or the "Image Smoothing" settings to
clearly print the data by eliminating the outline or jaggies from the print image.
* The adjustment applies to bitmap data only (including BMP, GIF, and JPEG).
* The adjustment procedure differs for each purpose: "to disable the Sharpness settings" and "to make Image
Smoothing settings. For the GA-1120 and GA-1130 or for PCL printing with the GA-1121 and GA-1131, refer
to "3.11.1 To Disable Sharpness Settings" and for the GA-1121 and GA-1131, refer to "3.11.1 To Disable
Sharpness Settings" and "3.11.2 To Make Image Smoothing Settings".
