2.9 To Make Photo Borders and Edges Look Softer

Before the adjustment
The edges (outline) of the image are highly
visible.
Explanation
When a photo is copied, the borders and the edges of the image sometimes become highly visible. To make a
copy with softer borders and edges, change the original mode.
Procedure
* The adjustment is made by the service technician, and by the user.
(1) Select the "BASIC" menu from the Control Panel and set the original mode to "PRINTED IMAGE".
* To copy photos, set the original mode to "PHOTO".
Cautions after the completion of the adjustment
When the original containing text is copied, the adjustment may possibly cause the text to be blurred. Therefore,
perform the adjustment carefully, while checking the printout.
