(3) Make the color balance adjustment or RGB adjustment to adjust the colors in general.
• Follow procedures (a) through (d) to make the adjustment.
(a) Select the "COLOR" menu from the Control Panel.
(b) Select "COLOR BALANCE" for adjustment with YMCK, and "RGB ADJUSTMENT" for
adjustment with RGB.
(c) Select a "+" position to enhance the tint of the color, and a "−" position to decrease the tint of the color.
(d) Press the [SET] button.
After adjusting the colors, make a copy and check the image quality.
If further image quality adjustments are still necessary, the service technician should use the next procedure.
(4) Enter adjustment mode [05] and change the set value for code [779 to 798] to adjust the density of each
color.

Cautions after the completion of the adjustment
The adjustment may possibly cause offset failure particularly when the highly-colored original is copied in the
Photo mode or a lowering of color reproducibility (excessively enhancing the tint of black makes other colors
such as flesh color look dull). Therefore, perform the adjustment carefully, while checking the printout.
Remarks
Enter the value within the recommended value range mentioned in the procedures. Otherwise, it may cause a
loss in copier performance, including image failure and a decrease in consumable life.
