2.12 To Obtain Good Color Balance on Thick Paper

Before the adjustment
The copy image looks light on thick paper.
Explanation
When copies are made on thick paper in the Thick paper mode, the copy image sometimes looks light. In the
Thick paper mode, the deposit of toner is reduced in advance to prevent failure of toner deposit. To obtain a
high-density and sharp copy image on thick paper, adjust the deposit of toner while checking the fixing condition
of toner.
Procedure
* The adjustment is made by the service technician only.
(1) Enter adjustment mode [05] and change the set value for code [613 to 616] or [609 to 610] to adjust the
deposit of toner.
• The set value varies according to the paper mode. Select a code [05] for which you want to change the
image quality and increase the value to obtain the desired density.
* Only the e-STUDIO211c/311c provide the paper modes, "Thick paper 4 (05-315)" and "Special paper (05-
