Note
The settings for all parameters on the "FAX TX OPERATION" menu can
also be specified from LSD (Local Setup for Diagnostic). For details, refer
to "Local Setup for Diagnostic (LSD)" on page 8-4.
When optional network interface card NC-503 or image controller IC-206
is installed on the machine, settings can also be specified from the
network tool Web Connection. For details, refer to the User manual for
the corresponding option.

This parameter can be used to set the default scanning den-

"FINE/TEXT", "S-FINE/TEXT", "STD/PHOTO", "FINE/PHO-
TO" or "S-FINE/PHOTO" as the default image quality (resolu-
tion) for scanning.

This parameter can be used to select "MEMORY TX" or "ADF
TX" as the default transmission mode.
