also be specified from LSD (Local Setup for Diagnostic). For details, refer
to "Local Setup for Diagnostic (LSD)" on page 8-4.

Utility mode/Fax mode parameters
Description
This parameter can be used to select the volume of the alarm
and the sound produced when a key is pressed.
• The manufacturer's default setting is "LOW".
This parameter can be used to select the mode (Copy mode
or Fax mode) that the machine enters when it is turned on or
when the auto panel reset operation is performed.
• The manufacturer's default setting is "COPY".
This parameter can be used to specify the amount of memory
that is available before the memory becomes full and scan-
ning stops.
• The manufacturer's default setting is "512 KByte".
