Making a telephone call
Telephone calls can be made when a telephone is connected to this
machine.

Pick up the telephone receiver.
Check that the dial tone can be heard.

Dial the telephone number of the recipient.

Talk to the recipient after they pick up their telephone receiver.

When the conversation is finished, return the telephone receiver to its
cradle.

Receiving a telephone call
The following procedure describes how to receive a telephone call when an
external telephone is connected.
If "RX MODE" is set to "MANUAL RX", a telephone call can be received.

When the telephone rings, pick up the receiver to talk with the caller.

When the conversation is finished, return the telephone receiver to its
cradle.
