Pick up the telephone receiver.
– Check that the dial tone can be heard.
– If the [On Hook] key is pressed instead of picking up the telephone
receiver, the speaker can be used for manual transmission.

Specify the fax number of the recipient.
– Use the telephone to dial the fax number.
– The fax number of the recipient can also be specified using the keys
in the control panel of this machine. (Refer to page 3-12.)

After finishing talking on the telephone, the recipient should press the
[Start] key to start receiving the fax.
Once the recipient's fax machine is ready, a beep is heard.

Press the [Start] key.
Scanning and transmission begin.
To stop the transmission, press the [Clear/Stop] key, and then select
"YES" in the screen that appeared.

Return the telephone receiver to its cradle.
