"UTILITY MODE" menu
The "UTILITY MODE" menu contains 13 items.
Items 1, 5 and 8 through 12 in the following table are described in this
manual. For details on items 2 through 4, 6 and 7, refer to the user manual of
the copier. For details on item 13, refer to the user manual for optional image
controller IC-206 or for network interface card NC-503.

Description
Used to specify settings for the machine's
operating environment.
Used to specify the size and type of paper
loaded in the 1st paper drawer. In addition,
settings can be specified for the paper
drawers that are selected during the auto-
matic tray switching operation.
Used to register up to two custom paper
sizes.
Used to perform maintenance operations in
order to maintain the machine's efficiency.
Used by the administrator to specify set-
tings for managing the accounts and to
specify remote monitoring settings.
Used to specify the default settings for the
various copy functions.
Used to register destinations for one-touch
dial keys, speed dial numbers and group di-
aling.
Used to specify the default settings for the
various fax functions.
Used to specify the default settings for the
various transmission operations.
Used to specify the default settings for the
various reception operations.
