Faxing from a computer (direct faxing)

A document created in an application, such as word-processing software,
can be faxed by specifying the telephone (fax) number of the recipient from
the computer, without first printing the document.
To perform a direct fax transmission, use the optional unimessage pro I-Net
portal utility.

In order to perform a direct fax transmission, optional image controller IC-
206 or optional network interface card NC-503 must be installed on the
machine.
The settings for receiving direct fax result notifications for unimessage
pro I-Net portal cannot be used.

printing from the application).

The data received from the computer is sent to the specified fax number.
