Making copies
The copying process starts after you press the 'start' button. You can change
the settings before pressing the 'start' button.
Feeding in the origina
Insert the original, face down and aligned to the right, along the original guide

on the scanner feed table, so that the line is completely visible (see f igure23).

The original will be transported about 1 centimeter (0.4") to a predefined
position.
Now you are ready to change settings or to start the copy process (see ' S tarting

the copy process' on pa ge57).
If you make a copy before the 1-minute time-out expires, the machine will use
the settings of the previous copy job.
Starting the copy process
If you press the 'start' button without changing any settings, the machine will
either use the settings of the previous copy job, or its own default settings,
which are as follows:
