Channel 3 is dedicated to the ISDN B2 Channel and occupies a bandwidth of 64000 bits/sec when
required.
Channel 4 is dedicated to an internal BRI Control Channel. This channel is permanently connected and
requires a bandwidth of 4800 bits/sec.
The DIL switches should be set as follows:
NT mode settings
ON
TE mode settings
OFF
The meaning of the LED indicators is as follows:
NT (green) indicates that the card is in NETWORK mode and terminal equipment should be plugged into
it.
TE (green) indicates that the card is in TERMINAL EQUIPMENT mode and should be plugged into an S0/T0
network port.
E1 (red) indicates that there is an error on the local card.
E2 (red) indicates that there is an error on the remote card.
B1 (yellow) indicates that Bearer 1 is locally synchronized.
SY (yellow) indicates that Bearer 1 is remotely synchronized.
RX (yellow) indicates that data is being received locally.
TX (yellow) indicates that data is being transmitted locally.
1,2,3,4 (yellow) indicate internal status.
