3.4.15 The DIAGNOSTICS menu

The Diagnostics menu allows the user to monitor all of the internal configuration, alarms and connection
status messages that the unit generates. A small sub-menu presents several options, which allow the user
to monitor the status of the integrated IP router or to view connection, configuration or alarm messages in
a rolling display (with a combination of all three also available) or to view a HELP screen as the sixth
TM
option. These may be captured using, for example Windows
Hyperterminal, for inspection at a later
time. Refer to Section 4.3 for a detailed description of the diagnostics tools available.

3.4.16 The REMOTE menu

This Main Menu screen allows the user to log on to any unit in the network, by selecting the "REMOTE"
option. The user is then prompted for the node I.D. number of the unit to be selected, as shown below:
