The routing page contains the the complete ISDN number for the remote terminal entered for dialling.
This must include an Inmarsat Global Area Network (GAN) prefix as well as a # to initiate the call, as
shown. A corresponding number should be entered in the return route to node 0 on the other unit.
NOTE: When dialling a fixed ISDN (terrestrial) ISDN number from an Inmarsat terminal, the
prefix "902" must be used, followed by the complete destination number with the
international dialling code. In this case, the international dialing prefix for the USA must be
entered at Node1.
The V100 data channels should now be configured. In this example, the ISDN service is used as the sole
aggregate and so ports 0:1 and 0:2 should be configured as Tributaries and left unmapped. If they are
permanently mapped, they will cause the ISDN service to be dialled. The menus for both units should be
set as follows:
Finally, the V100 voice channels should be configured. In the following example, all ports are in FXS mode
to drive telephones directly. The destination numbers of the remote channels are entered to provide a
"hotline" service:
