your garage door must be installed and balanced properly. Before installing your garage
door opener, open and close your door manually to ensure that it operates smoothly
from top to bottom. a properly balanced door should not take a lot of effort to open
or close by hand. the door should stay in the open and in the closed position without
drifting. If a door opens fast going up, the door may need spring tension reduced. If the
door drops fast going down, the door may need spring tension increased.

instructions on how to install idrive® for torsion springs garage door opener.
If the operation of the door does not perform as indicated above, please contact a
professional installer to adjust the door spring balance before installing idrive®.
