Attaching Safety Sensors

Attach the Sending and Receiving Safety
Tools Needed:
Sensors to the "U" Brackets by inserting
None
all three tabs into the respective holes.
IMPORTANT! Identify which side of the
garage door is exposed to the most
sunlight. Mount the Sending Unit (Unit
without LED) on the side which is exposed
to the most sun. Sunlight may affect the
Safety Sensors, this orientation will help
reduce the effect.

Routing Safety Sensor Wires

Tools Needed:
Uncoil Wires from Safety Sensors and
route Wires up garage wall and above
Hammer
torsion tube towards the right side of the
Opener Power Head.
Route Wires behind torsion tube and tack
Wires in place with Insulated Staples.
NOTE: If wires must be lengthened or
spliced use wire nuts or suitable
connectors.
