Configuring a Static Address Pool

The commands in this example create an address pool that assigns the
address 192.168.2.10 to the host with a MAC address of 00:1C:23:55:E9:F3.
When this hosts sends a DHCP message requesting network information, the
switch will offer the information configured in this example, which includes a
custom DHCP option to assign the SMTP server IP address.
To configure the switch:
1 Enable the DHCP service and create an address pool named "Tyler PC",
and then enter into DHCP pool configuration mode for the pool.

console(config)#ip dhcp pool "Tyler PC"
2 Specify the IP addresses that are available in the pool.
console(config-dhcp-pool)#hardware-address
00:1C:23:55:E9:F3
3 Specify the IP address and subnet mask to assign to the client.
console(config-dhcp-pool)#host 192.168.2.10
255.255.255.0
4 Specify the IP address to use as the default gateway.
console(config-dhcp-pool)#default-router
192.168.2.1
5 Specify the primary and secondary DNS servers the hosts will use.
console(config-dhcp-pool)#dns-server
192.168.2.100
console(config-dhcp-pool)#dns-server
192.168.5.101
6 Specify the domain name to be assigned to clients that lease an address
from this pool.
console(config-dhcp-pool)#domain-name
executive.dell.com
7 Specify the option that configures the SMTP server IP address to the host.
console(config-dhcp-pool)#option 69 ip
