Configuring Routing Interfaces
Purpose
Enable local proxy ARP on the interface to allow the
switch to respond to ARP requests for hosts on the same
subnet as the ARP source.
Set the configured bandwidth on this interface to
communicate the speed of the interface to higher level
protocols. OSPF uses the bandwidth value to compute
link cost. The range is 1–10000000.
Allow the switch to send ICMP Destination
Unreachable messages in response to packets received
on the interface.
Allow the switch to send ICMP Redirect messages in
response to packets received on the interface.
Exit to Global Config mode.
Configure the default gateway. All switch interfaces use
the same default gateway.
Exit to Privileged EXEC mode.
View information about the DHCP leases acquired for
all interfaces or for the specified interface.
For a VLAN, the
followed by the VLAN ID, with no space, for example
vlan10.
vlan-
View the IP interface configuration information for the
specified routing VLAN.
