CoS Interface Configuration Commands

Beginning in Privileged Exec mode, use the following commands in to
configure the traffic shaping and WRED exponent values for an interface.

Interface Queue Configuration

Beginning in Privileged Exec mode, use the following commands in to
configure and view CoS interface queue settings.

Description
Enter Global Configuration mode.
Enter Interface Configuration mode, where

Sets the upper limit on how much traffic can leave a
port. The
bandwidth value from 64 to 4294967295 kbps.
Configure the WRED decay exponent (range: 0–15)
exponent
for the interface. The weighting constant exponent
determines how much of the previous average queue
length sample is added to the current average queue
length. A value of 0 indicates that no weight is given
to the previous sample and only the instantaneous
rate is used. A value of 1 indicates that 1/2 of the
difference between the instantaneous value and the
previous value is added to the current value; a value of
2 implies that 1/4 of the difference is added, 3 implies
1/8 of the difference is added, etc.
