(Figure 20-10 on page 474) you now see all disks two times (redundant connections) and
you also see two Multi-Path Disk Devices. This verifies for you that the operating system is
seeing all paths, and the two created logical drives are presented to the OS by the
multipath driver.

20.2.3 Windows Disk Manager

At this point, we have done the basic steps to attach the SAN disks to the operating system.
Now we have to prepare the disks in Microsoft Disk Manager so they can be used.
1. Start Disk Manager (for example, Start → Run → type diskmgmt.msc. The disk
management window will appear, and because it is discovering new disks, the Initialize
and Convert Disk Wizard will appear in the foreground (Figure 20-11).
