Jure Arzensek is an Advisory IT Specialist at IBM® Slovenia, and responsible for post-sales
technical support for IBM System x™, Personal Computing Division, and TotalStorage®
DS4000™ products in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. He has seven years of
experience with IBM storage products and has worked for IBM since 1995. He holds a degree
in computer science from the University of Ljubljana. His other areas of expertise include the
System x servers and network operating systems for the Intel® platform. He has coauthored
four other IBM Redbooks®, including SAN Multiprotocol Routing: An Introduction and
Implementation, SG24-7321.
Charlotte Brooks is an IBM Certified IT Specialist and Project Leader for Tivoli® Storage
and System Storage™ Solutions at the International Technical Support Organization, San
Jose Center. She has worked for IBM in the fields of storage hardware and software support,
deployment, and management. She has written many IBM Redbooks, and has developed and
taught IBM classes in all areas of storage and storage management. Before joining the ITSO
in 2000, she was the Technical Support Manager for Tivoli Storage Manager in the Asia
Pacific Region.
Hendrik Ernst has worked for Computer Service GmbH in Erfurt since 1998 performing Intel
server presales support. In 1999, he joined the IBM German Country Postsales Support
Team, specializing in the IBM System x, Microsoft® Cluster Services and storage solutions.
He previously authored IBM TotalStorage DS300 and DS400 Best Practices Guide,
SG24-7121.
Daniel Koeck is a System x Support Specialist in IBM Maintenance and Technical Support in
Austria. He has a graduate degree in applied computer science and has many industry
certifications, including the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer 2003. He trains other IBM
