The drive partitioning and drive letter assignment needs to be done only on the first node.
After finishing this task the configuration should look as shown in Figure 18-37 on page 425.

18.10 Install the cluster service on the first cluster node

The cluster service is now installed on the first node, Mara. This can be done remotely or
locally. The remaining nodes will be joined to the cluster, in 18.11, "Install cluster service on
the remaining nodes" on page 430.
1. Open Start → Program Files → Administrative Tools → Cluster Administrator. The
Cluster Administrator starts and the dialog Open Connection To Cluster appears,
Figure 18-38.

2. Select Create new cluster (Figure 18-39 on page 426) from the drop down and click OK.
