Figure 9-1 Initial Setup Tasks
In this chapter we will describe the configuration and management tasks in the graphical user
interface (GUI).
Close the Initial Setup Tasks pop up and you will see the main Summary tab. Figure 9-2
shows an unconfigured system that is running in an optimal status. The top of the tab shows
the name of the DS3000 system, with the link next to it, to re-start the Initial Setup Tasks if
you need them again. The name of the Subsystem can be edited in the Enterprise
Management Window, as described in "Rename" on page 127.
The Summary Tab GUI is divided into six groups:

9.2, "Hardware components" on page 203
9.3, "Capacity" on page 207
9.4, "Hosts and Mappings" on page 207
9.5, "Arrays and Logical Drives"
9.6, "Information Center" on page 211
