Assembly Instructions
1. Make sure that the shipping cover has been removed from the detector mounting
plate on the IsoPlane.
2. Leaving 1/4" of thread exposed, screw the three (3) hex head screws into the
mounting plate.
3. Put the O-ring (supplied with the camera) in the groove on the camera flange.
4. If there is a baffle in place, align the camera accordingly. Usually this means that the
text on the back of the detector will be right side up and easily readable.
5. Tighten the three screws with a 5/16" open end wrench.
Note: Rotational alignment of the camera to the spectrograph optics is done by
loosening the screws at the mounting plate corners, performing the alignment, and then
retightening the screws. The holes are slotted to allow about 4° of rotation.
