When the received Targets exceed the maximum limit allowed for the list, the closest Targets (which could
be potentially the most dangerous) will be kept in memory and the farthest (potentially less dangerous)
will be lost.

C-MAP WEATHER FORECASTS SERVICE

C-MAP Weather Forecasts Service is a free worldwide service available on the CPN Series
Chart Plotter. Weather Forecasts are based on data received from the European Centre for
Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). To display C-Weather data on the CPN
Series Chart Plotter simply download the weather data via the chart plotters built-in Wi-Fi
®
if a Wi-Fi
connection is not present onboard your vessel, download the C-Weather data
at home using the C-MAP
to an SD CARD to be loaded on to the CPN Series Chart Plotter.
The advanced features of the C-MAP Weather Forecasts Service include:
· 5-day Weather Forecast updated every 3 hours
· Coverage of 180x180Nm with information frequency of 0.5° Lat/Lon
· Wind Direction and Wind Speed
· Wave Height and Wave Direction
· Air Temperature
· Level of Humidity
· Visibility in miles and weather type
The units of measure are set by the user, see Par. 2.1.4 "Settings in General Setup Menu".
