2. Press D or U until you see the key you need to set, then press e to edit the value.

Setting the Escape Character
1. This option allows you to set or view the Escape Character (EC).
2. Run-time messages from the radio begin with the EC and the default is the pound sign
(#), which has a decimal value of 35. You may need to change the default EC
character if it conflicts with other data, because unexpected operation could occur.
3. From the Configure menu, select Escape Char.
4. Press D or U to decrease or increase the decimal value.
5. Press L or R when you are finished. Press e to save the setting or X to exit without
saving changes. You return to the Configure menu.
The radio is now configured. Press E until you return to the Pause screen.

Printing a Network Information Label

You can print a network information label with the device name, IP address, and MAC
address as a Code 128 bar code. You can also print the network information as a Code
39 bar code with the correct MIF settings.
