Loosen the lock-nut

Remove the master cylinder mounting bolts

Place a rag underneath the union bolt on the master cylinder
to catch spilled drops of brake fluid. Remove the union bolt
@
and disconnect the brake hose.
CAUTlONj
Immediately and completely wipe off any brake fluid
contacting any parts of the motorcycle. The fluid
reacts chemically with paint, plastic and rubber mate-
rials, etc. and will damage them severely.

Disconnect the reservoir hose

Remove the connector by removing the snap ring
@.
Remove the O-ring
@.
Replace the O-ring with a new one.

Pull out the dust boot

then remove the snap ring
@.
Remove the push rod, piston/primary cup and spring.
