Bootup NumLock State

The setting of the NumLock function after a system boot is provided here. NumLock controls the functionality of the numeric keypad.
On
NumLock is enabled, the numeric keypad can be used.
Off
NumLock is disabled, the numeric keypad keys can be used to control the cursor.
The Num indicator light on your keyboard shows the current boot up NumLock state. The

Quiet Boot

The boot logo is shown on the screen instead of the POST boot up information.
