Gate
Apart from the classic studio use as a noise gate, this effect has a large
number of application areas including chopping up beats using the filter
for gating defined frequency ranges.

Detector Filter
Cutoff frequency of the 2-pole high pass filter of the level detector. Can be used to avoid

opening of the gate by low frequencies.
Detector Filter
Cutoff frequency of the 2-pole low pass filter of the level detector. Can be used to avoid
Hi Cut
opening of the gate by high frequencies.
Threshold
Sets the level at which the Gate opens.
Hysteresis
Determines by how much the threshold for closing is lower than the threshold for opening.
Attack
Sets the time it takes for the gate to open.
Hold
Controls the time the gate will stay open, regardless of the signal falling below threshold.
This is the time the Gate takes to close completely after the signal has fallen below
Release
threshold.
