8. Connect the power (1) and data (2) cables to the drive, as shown in the following figure.
If the hard disk drive is SAS, attach a SATA-SAS adapter to the drive before connecting the data
cable.

9. Ensure that the other end of the data cable is connected to the proper HDD data connector on the
system board.
10. Reinstall all removed components and reconnect any cables that have been disconnected.
