Installing a hard disk drive in the optical drive bay

For optimum performance, install the hard disk drive in the bottom bay; do not install it in the top
bay.

5. Carefully separate the carrier rails (1), set the drive between them while aligning the pins with the
drive mounting holes (2), and then release the rails to secure them onto the drive (3), as shown in
the following figure.
