The following shows the connection of processor memory modules (PMMs) for A1080a-D
model.
All processor memory modules in the server can be connected one another. Some I/O
controllers (IOHs) cannot be connected to processor memory modules directly, but can be
connected via other processor modules.
For A1080a-D Model Server 1

Example) In the four-processor memory module configuration for server 1, PMM1 and IOH2
cannot be connected directly as shown below. However, a PCI card under IOH2 can
be used via PMM2 or PMM4.
For example, the PCI card under IOH2 can be used via PMM4 even in the case of
failure on PMM2.
The same applies to Server 2.
