Installing additional remote controls

If you are using pairs of loudspeakers in other rooms with your HiFi, you can
also install additional remote control units to operate them. You can install up to
9 remote controls. You can then use up to three remote controls at the same
time.
Note:
Only insert batteries in the new remote control when the system asks you to.

Switch on the HiFi system.

Call up the »AUDIO« menu by pressing »Audio« on the first remote control.
– Display: the »AUDIO« menu.
3 In the »AUDIO« menu, press »SETUP« and enter the PIN.
– Display: the »SETUP« menu.
4 In the »SETUP« menu, press » INSTALLATION«.
– Display: the »INSTALLATION« menu.

In the »INSTALLATION« menu, press » P R 1 «.
– Display: the »PR1« menu.

In the »PR1« menu, press » I N S T A L L PR1«.
– Display: » INSERT BATTERIES INTO THE NEW PR1 AND PRESS
"OK" FOR 2 SECONDS.«.
7 Insert three batteries (3 x 1.5 V alkaline, mignon type LR6/AA/AM3) in the
battery compartment of the second remote control, making sure that the
polarity is correct.

Press »OK« on the second remote control and hold it down for 2 seconds.
– The display of the first remote control reads: » INSTALLATION OF THE
NEW PR1
» INSTALLATION OF THE NEW PR1 COMPLETED«.
– The second remote control synchronises with the first.
