    The compact disc player has a CD text function, which means that it can display the artist and the contents of the CD on the HiFi and the remote control. The RCD 2000 has a large display which is raised by a motor to enable you to read its information in comfort.

Replace CDs in their jewel cases after use. Do not attach adhesive labels to CDs. Keep the surfaces of CDs clean. To clean CDs use a lint-free cloth and wipe them in a straight line from the centre of the disc outwards.

Impairment can also be caused by leads having been accidentally pulled out, damaged CDs and worn out batteries in the remote control.
