    SET-UP AND SAFETY ______________________________________________ To ensure that this high-quality, easy-to-use HiFi system will provide lasting satisfaction and enjoyment, please observe the following instructions when setting it up. This HiFi system is designed for the playback of audio signals. Any other use is expressly prohibited. Position your HiFi system as near as possible to the centre of the area of appli- cation.

    SET-UP AND SAFETY _________________________________________________________________ If the stereo system no longer scans CDs perfectly, use a standard cleaning CD to clean the laser optics. Other cleaning methods may damage the laser optics. Always keep the CD compartment closed to prevent dust from collecting on the laser optics.

    OVERVIEW _______________________________________________________________________ The HiFi system controls SOURCE Selects the input sources in the order FM, DAB (if a DAB module is integrated) and CD.     OVERVIEW __________________________________________________________________________________ The back and bottom of the HiFi system Radio antenna (must be perpendicular). Mains switch (back of device), switches the HiFi on and off. The only way to completely isolate the HiFi system from the mains supply is to pull the plug out.

In multi-room mode: switches only the loudspeakers in the current room to standby. Hold down to switch the whole system to standby.     Operation with the RCD 8300 HiFi system and Grundig televisions With your RCD 8300 HiFi system you can operate one or two pairs of loud- speakers in room 1. We recommend using the LSP2 active loudspeakers as front speakers and the LSP3 active loudspeakers as surround speakers.

    SET-UP ___________________________________________________________________________________ Setting up the HiFi system There are two ways to position your HiFi: – Placed horizontally in a suitable location – Mounted vertically on the wall. When the HiFi is operated horizontally, the display is lifted up manually. Then you can turn it to the left or right by pressing buttons on the remote control.

Drill two holes for the screws. Push in the wall plugs and screw in two screws. For the Digi 100, the data is exchanged by means of an I C connection, and the installation process is carried out via the relevant menu on the television screen.
