3. Archive System

Manual Subsequent Archiving

This feature allows you to enter all the recordngs of your cas-
sette collection in the archive system.
This "manual subsequent archiving procedure" is used for
recorders not equipped with the VISS feature.
Preparation
Switch on the television set.
Select the programme position on the television set for the
video recorder (AV programme position).
Open the front cover of the recorder.
Pull out the second level of the remote control.
Prress these buttons on the remote
control
1. Inserting a cassette
You will see this on your TV screen

– – – « appears in the recorder´s
display.
You must first enter the cassette num-
ber in point 6.
If you insert a cassette with a non-
standard playback time, press the
button, select the total play-
back time of the cassette with the
buttons, and
PROGRAM
confirm with the button.
This procedure is also necessary if
you use 5-hour E300 cassettes.
Because there are slight differences in
the playing time displayed depending
on the recorder, we recommend com-
paring the playtime data from your
notebook with beginning and end of the
respective recording.
You can do this quickly with the search
function.
