The on-screen menu is an instruction guide which

The correct menus, tables and dialogue lines – from which
you can determine the next possible operating steps – always
appear on the screen.
To make programming even easier, the corresponding but-

have achieved the desired result.
It is possible to use the on-screen menu in several languages.
GRUNDIG-Toptext Programming, with VPT
Programming with the remote control, checking on
the TV set.
You call up certain Teletext pages and then you can

immediately select and confirm the desired data from the
programe summaries provided by the TV stations. The data is
then displayed on the screen of the TV set.

Gemstar Development Corporation.
The GRUNDIG archive system
The GRUNDIG archive system is an electronic note-
book.

In its standard configuration, it can store up to 700
titles along with a wealth of information. You can upgrade the
archive system to store up to 1400 titles.
The GRUNDIG archive system offers the following advanta-
ges:
Your title directory is always at hand because all the required
information is stored in the recorder.
If you programme a recording, titles and information provi-
ded with programmes when they are broadcast are automati-
cally copied into the archive system. The only requirement is
that television stations whose programmes you want to
record broadcast Teletext.
If you manually start a recording, all data are copied into the
archive system, and you merely need enter the title of the
broadcast afterward.
Previous recordings can also be entered in the archive
system.
You can quickly search your archive for titles, key words and
categories, intert the cassette with the found title, and start
playback with the push of a button.
An overview of the remaining playing time of all the archived
cassettes allows you to quickly find a cassette with enough
recording time for a new recording.
Of course with Teletext
By means of the built-in Teletext decoder, any TV
TELE-VIDEO
set becomes suitable for Teletext operation.
Teletext information can easily be called up by
means of the remote control.
