2. Record Programming
After programming ...
... the remaining playing time of the tape is briefly displayed.
The display then shows the programme position with the sta-
tion identification abbreviation as well as the start time and
stop time of the first chronological TIMER position.
Possible messages in the recorder display
If the display of the recorder shows ...
... REST and F U L L a cassette with insufficient playing time
was inserted.
If the sum of all recording times is
greater than the total playing time of the
inserted cassette, the recorder will
record up to the end of the tape.
The
rewinds the cassette all the way to the
beginning and then switches to stop.

all TIMER positions of the recorder are
occupied.
... REST and — : —
the cassette´s playing time was not
recognised, or a daily/weekly recording
is programmed.

The recorder automatically stores » DIVERSE « as the catego-
ry in the archive, as well as the station identification abbrevia-
tion and the start time as title, when the recording starts.
After the recording is completed, you can enter the title of
your choice and assign it to a category; see page 39, chapter
"Information on Cassette Contents".
Entering a different date
Follow this procedure for entering a different date instead of
the one provided on page 25, point 3.
b) Enter the desired day (1 to 31) with the

Checking the occupied TIMER positions in the
recorder
Press the
display on the recorder shows the desired TIMER position.
Clearing an occupied TIMER position in the
recorder
Press the
button to select the respective TIMER.
Press the
button to clear the data in the TIMER position.
Interrupting the record stand-by mode of the
recorder
If you have programmed TIMER positions but wish to use the
recorder while it is in record stand-by mode, or you want to
terminate the TIMER recording, then:
press the
button and the cassette is automatically ejec-
ted, or press the
The TIME data disappear from the display on the recorder,
the TIMER symbol flashes, and the data are retained.
The record stand-by mode of the recorder is now
interrupted.
Now select the desired function.
Reactivating the record stand-by mode of the
recorder
Insert a cassette with sufficient playing time, wait until the
tape measurement is completed, and then press the
(TIMER) button.
The remaining playing time briefly appears in the recorder´s
display.
The recorder is once again in the record stand-by mode and
the TIMER recordings will be made at the programmed times.
