Inserting New Recordings at a Later Date
(Perfect Insert Splice)
You can insert new recordings into existing recordings at a
later date, for example, certain scenes that are played back
from external picture/sound sources.

Connecting
Open the front cover of the recorder.
Connect the picture/sound source to the EURO-AV A1 or A2
socket;
or
connect the picture/sound source to the L AUDIO IN R and
VIDEO IN/CV sockets.
or
Connect the picture/sound source to the L AUDIO IN R
sockets and S-VHS.

The various Insert possibilities
Press the button to choose from the various Insert
INSERT
possibilities.
Press the button once = insert;
Press the button twice = insert dubbing;
Press the button three times = insert video;
Press the button four times = switch off insert.

with the buttons on the video recorder.
Selecting the programme source
Turn the jog-knob to the left or right until the desired indica-
tion apears in the display of the recorder:
