3. Archive System

Subsequent Archiving Semi-automatically

This feature allows you to enter all the recordngs of your cas-
sette collection in the archive system. The only requirement
is that the recordings are made with video recorders which
place a VISS marks at the beginning of a recording.
(VISS = Video Index Search System).
All GRUNDIG video recorders manufactured after October
1989 are equipped with this feature.
To subsequently archive cassettes without VISS marks, use
the manual subsequent archiving procedure, described on
page 34.
Press these buttons on the remote
control
1. Inserting a cassette
2. Selecting function
Preparation
Switch on the television set.
Select the programme position on the television set for the
video recorder (AV programme position).
Open the front cover of the recorder.
Pull out the second level of the remote control.
You will see this on your TV screen

If you insert a cassette with a non-
standard playback time, press the
button, select the total play-
back time of the cassette with the
buttons, and
PROGRAM
confirm with the
button.
This procedure is also necessary if
you use 5-hour E300 cassettes.
